Abstract
The device (1) comprises a continuous current generator (3) or a rectifier provided with a cathodic connection (4) and an anodic connection (5), and an electrolyte. The cathodic connection connects a negative pole of the rectifier or generator with a metal structure (2) to be protected in an electrolytic medium, and the anodic connection connects a positive pole of the generator or rectifier with an anodic mass. The anodic mass is disposed in a well vertically situated in the electrolytic medium, where the well comprises an upper casing and a lower casing. The device (1) comprises a continuous current generator (3) or a rectifier provided with a cathodic connection (4) and an anodic connection (5), and an electrolyte. The cathodic connection connects a negative pole of the rectifier or generator with a metal structure (2) to be protected in an electrolytic medium, and the anodic connection connects a positive pole of the generator or rectifier with an anodic mass. The anodic mass is disposed in a well vertically situated in the electrolytic medium, where the well comprises an upper casing and a lower casing. The casings have a top end, a bottom end and a circular section, where the top end is made of an insulating material and the bottom end is made of a metallic material. The top and bottom ends are aligned in same axis and connected by a mechanical connection, and comprises a stopper. The anodic mass is further disposed in an interior of the lower casing. The electrolyte ensures an electrical contact between the anodic mass and the lower casing, and includes coke breeze, iron filings and/or water. The mechanical connection is a cuff cover and a pivot connection, and is fixed at the casings by screwing and/or riveting. A length of the upper casing and the lower casing is 50 m and 10-100 m respectively, and a length of the well is = 200 m. An internal diameter of the lower casing is = 30 mm. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process for cathodic protection of a metal structure.
