Abstract

The device (1) has a mobile optical unit for assuring contactless optical communication between a watch (2) and a processing and control unit. Optical inputs/outputs are arranged on periphery of a watch casing. Cylindrical receiver housing (7) has a flat base (70) to receive the watch. Optical transmitters/receivers transmit/receive a radial optical beam to/from an inner wall (71) of the housing. The transmitters/receivers cooperate with the processing and control unit to inject an incident endoscopic beam and to receive and process a reflected endoscopic beam to generate an endoscopic image.
