Procédé d'estimation d'une température et d'une durée de surchauffe d'une pièce métallique de turbomachine, consistant à préparer plusieurs échantillons réalisés dans un matériau identique à celui de la pièce et à les soumettre à un traitement thermique oxydant à des températures et pendant des durées prédéterminées, de façon à provoquer au moins pour certains échantillons une coloration thermique superficielle par oxydation du matériau, à préparer un nuancier de coloration thermique du matériau en classant les échantillons sur un support en fonction de leur température et de leur durée de traitement, et à comparer la coloration thermique de la pièce à celles des échantillons du nuancier.Method for estimating a temperature and a duration of overheating of a metal part of a turbomachine, consisting in preparing several samples made of a material identical to that of the part and in subjecting them to an oxidizing heat treatment at temperatures and during predetermined times, so as to cause at least for certain samples a superficial thermal coloring by oxidation of the material, to prepare a thermal coloring chart of the material by classifying the samples on a support according to their temperature and their duration of treatment, and to compare the thermal coloring of the part with those of the samples in the color chart.
