Abstract

The process comprises covering two ends of a component forming core (10) using a removable device (16) made of refractory material to prevent the recovery of the end during the overmolding step, placing the component forming core in a mold (30), fixing a piece of folded sheet metal on the component forming core, where the piece of folded sheet metal is intended to ensure the position of the component forming core in the thickness of the mold, coating the removable device of a refractory material such as a carbon-based solution, and overmolding the component forming core. The process comprises covering two ends of a component forming core (10) using a removable device (16) made of refractory material to prevent the recovery of the end during the overmolding step, placing the component forming core in a mold (30), fixing a piece of folded sheet metal on the component forming core, where the piece of folded sheet metal is intended to ensure the position of the component forming core in the thickness of the mold, coating the removable device of a refractory material such as a carbon-based solution, overmolding the component forming core, and removing the removable device of the end of the component forming core. The mold has a housing to receive the removable device when the component forming core is placed in the mold. The housing has dimensions equal to the dimensions of the removable device. The removable device has a draft angle for removing the removable device after the step of overmolding the component forming core, and a recess that is optionally different from the housing, and comprises housing for receiving an end of the component forming core, and a unit for clamping the end of the component forming core in the housing. The mold is made of sand, and is shaped to prevent direct contact between the removable device and the material for overmolding of the component forming core when the component forming core is placed in the mold.
