Abstract

The present patent application relates to a composition in the powder form comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable particulate phase: a) at least one essential oil or a mixture of essential oils; b)at least one modified tapioca starch exhibiting an absorption capacity for a fatty substance of greater than 1ml/g; c) at least one filler other than the said starch. The present invention thus relates to a method for the cosmetic treatment of body odours, in particular axillary odours, which consists in applying, to the skin, in particular the axillae, a composition as defined above.
