Abstract

The exchanger (2) has a collector box (4) for containing a coolant, and a heating body (12) in which the coolant is circulated. The collector box includes an electric heating element (16) e.g. electric immersion heater, provided with an active part (18) that extends in an inner volume defined by the collector box, where the active part is provided with a positive temperature coefficient thermistor. A fixation unit fixes the element on the box. The element includes a positive contact stud connected to an electric current source and a negative contact stud connected to electrical ground.
