Abstract

The method involves analyzing signals for determining a signature of voice data stream based on one of parameters such as packet size, bidirectional character, usage of User Datagram Protocol (UDP) and transmission control protocol (TCP). Jitter of voice data stream is observed for determining a quality of service. Calibration of signature of different services observed on an Internet is performed. Signals are filtered to select signals produced by data exchange software on a computer network i.e. Internet network (3). The signals are processed through application.
