Abstract

The system (10) has a secure high speed ratio disengaging system (40) including a retractable arm i.e. cam (80), that is provided in contact with an abutment unit (82), at rest state, to allow a disengaging filet (42) to occupy a high speed ratio selection position under the control of an interlocking key (30). The arm at retracted state, permits the filet to occupy a high speed ratio disengaging position in which a speed passage control finger is in contact with a locking wing that prevents the finger from engaging reverse speed ratio, during disengagement of high speed ratio of a gearbox. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a manual controlled gearbox.
