Abstract

The apparatus (99) has an orifice (13) formed in a wall of an elongated body (17) and extending between two toroidal obturation units (15, 16) i.e. packers. Multiple reservoirs (R1-R3) temporarily store multiple samples of fluid. Multiple isolation units (V31, V32) respectively assure isolation of the reservoirs. A fluid transport pipe (20) connects the orifice to the isolation units. The pipe is equipped with a pump (P) that assures circulation of the fluid in the pipe, and with a measuring unit (C1) that measures physicochemical parameters of the fluid transported by the pipe. An independent claim is also included for a system for sampling subsurface fluid, comprising a carrying cable.
