PETITS DÉCORS PERSONNALISÉS EN RELIEF POUR ILLUSTRATION D'ARTICLES SOUVENIRS. SMALL CUSTOM DECORATIONS IN RELIEF FOR ILLUSTRATION OF MEMORIES.
A partir du constat que l'article souvenir est constitué principalement par la représentation figurative du site touristique, cette image se doit , même si elle est de petite taille d'être la plus fidèle et la plus attrayante. Une reproduction en relief ajoute à cet attrait, mais pose de nombreuses difficultés pour sa réalisation, car, quand il s'agit de réaliser le complexe d'une image plane avec un support qui en reproduit relief, la difficulté est d'autant plus grande si l'image est de petite taille et doit être reproduite en grand nombre. Ce qui n'est pas facile à l'unité devient alors impossible de façon industrielle. L'invention décrit le moyen par lequel on peut réaliser en thermoformage avec des petites illustrations planes, des images en relief de façon multiple, répétitive et économique. A reproduction in relief adds to this attraction, but poses many difficulties for its realization, because, when it comes to realize the complex of a flat image with a support which reproduces relief, the difficulty is all the greater if the image is small and needs to be reproduced in large numbers. What is not easy to unity then becomes impossible industrially. The invention describes the means by which thermoforming can be achieved with small flat illustrations, relief images in multiple, repetitive and economical manner.
La première partie de l'opération consiste à cadrer et disposer les petites images du sujet pour les imprimer avec des intervalles déterminés sur un support thermoformable tel que des feuilles de PVC blanc opaque (fig. 1) La deuxième partie consiste à sculpter sur un socle au format de l'image les reliefs suggérés par cette image (ce qui est du ressort d'un graveur) et surtout, cette sculpture en bas relief sera réalisée sur un socle de forme géométrique, aux dimensions standardisées pour correspondre à la surface de l'image et à la marge réservée en creux sur les bords du socle(fig. 2) Troisième opération : Le socle modélisé sera reproduit en moulages d'autant de socles que la planche imprimée représentera de sujets. Ces moulages seront assemblés en juxtaposition (comme des blocs typographiques) sur la table d'aspiration de l'appareil de thermoformage pour être recouverts par la feuille imprimée. (fig. 3) A ce stade intervient une grille métallique conçue pour supporter la feuille imprimée au-dessus des blocs et pour épouser exactement les espaces en creux des 30 marges qui séparent les images sur la feuille imprimée. (fig. 4) L'intervention de cette grille est indispensable et fait l'objet de l'invention. Chaque maille de cette grille, en effet, limite la déformation et l'allongement qui se produit sur toute surface plane d'une feuille thermoplastique au moment où la température ramollit cette feuille qui se déforme en tous sens et rend impossible le repé- 35 rage de l'image sur des petites surfaces. La grille qui maintient la feuille limite ces déformations à l'intérieur des petits encadrements qui constituent cette grille et qui entourent chaque image de petite dimension. Cette grille se place donc sous la feuille de plastique imprimée qui est mise en repérage à distance , par faisceau laser , avec le bloc des socles. elle soutient cette feuille au-dessus des socles pendant la montée en température de la matière plastique . La température atteinte, la grille en s'abaissant se loge dans les intervalles prévus entre les socles et fait épouser aux petites images le relief des gravures des socles au moment où on met en marche l'aspiration. Après démoulage, on dispose d'autant de petites images en relief entre les mailles des grilles, prêtes à décorer les articles souvenirs tels que magnets, briquets, coffrets, etc... sur lesquels elles seront apposées. These moldings will be assembled in juxtaposition (as typographic blocks) on the suction table of the thermoforming device to be covered by the printed sheet. (Fig. 3) At this point there is a metal grid designed to support the printed sheet above the blocks and to fit exactly the recessed spaces of the margins which separate the images on the printed sheet. (FIG 4) The intervention of this grid is essential and is the subject of the invention. Each mesh of this grid, in fact, limits the deformation and elongation which occurs on any flat surface of a thermoplastic sheet at the moment when the temperature softens this sheet which deforms in all directions and makes it impossible to locate of the image on small surfaces. The grid that holds the sheet limits these deformations inside the small frames that make up this grid and surround each small image. This grid is placed under the printed plastic sheet which is placed in remote location, by laser beam, with the block of the bases. it supports this sheet above the bases during the temperature rise of the plastic material. The temperature reached, the grid in lowering is lodged in the intervals provided between the bases and marries to the small images the relief of the engravings of the bases at the moment when the suction is started. After demolding, we have as many small images in relief between the mesh of the grids, ready to decorate the memorabilia items such as magnets, lighters, boxes, etc ... on which they will be affixed.
