Abstract

The device has a flexible film type capacitive touch pad (10) that is transparent so as to be arranged on a vehicle window (12) or a cover of a base of a vehicle seat in an invisible or less visible manner. The device controls an electric apparatus by simple translation movements of a finger on the touch pad or at the proximity of the touch pad, where each movement is a simple movement directed from an edge towards another opposite edge of the touch pad. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a vehicle window comprising a transparent touch pad (2) a vehicle seat comprising a base.
