Abstract

The method involves intercepting a heat transfer fluid injection well (12) with a first zone of a geological reservoir (10). A heat transfer fluid production well (11) is intercepted with another zone of the reservoir. Heat transfer fluid is circulated between the zones of the reservoir. Distance between interception zones of the reservoir is determined by the wells for controlling operating time of the injected fluid. Hot fluid is produced during cold season and cold fluid is produced during hot season. An independent claim is also included for a thermal energy storing system.
