Abstract

Le procédé de découverte de la topologie IP de niveau 3 d'un réseau de type internet comprend une étape de détermination (110) d'un sous-réseau initial auquel est rattaché un terminal de découverte. Le procédé comporte des étapes (124, 126, 128, 130, 132, 136, 138, 140, 142, 144, 146) consistant, dans une boucle récursive de paramètre de parcours courant (Nbsauts), à rechercher les sous-réseaux ayant le même rang de sous-réseau (Nbsauts) à partir de l'ensemble des sous-réseaux de rang immédiatement inférieur d'un nombre un à la valeur courante (Nbsauts), le rang d'un sous-réseau étant le nombre minimal de routeurs nécessaire pour accéder audit sous-réseau à partir du terminal de découverte, et à affecter aux sous-réseaux déterminés ayant un même rang de sous-réseau (Nbsauts) la valeur courante du paramètre de parcours courant (Nbsaut) en tant que rang de sous-réseau.
