Abstract
Description
1 PROCEDE DE SOIN ESTHETIQUE DU VISAGE ET APPLICATEUR POUR SA MISE EN OEUVRE. A METHOD OF FACIAL CARE OF THE FACE AND APPLICATOR FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION
The invention relates generally to the field of aesthetic care. More specifically, the invention relates, according to a first aspect, to a method of aesthetic care of the face, comprising at least one operation consisting in applying to the skin of the face a cleaning product capable of solubilizing at least partially the human sebum. Among the beauty treatments, the cleansing of the facial skin is one of the oldest and most commonly practiced. The methods usually used consist of the application on the skin of the face of an oil-in-water emulsion (cleansing milk), gels or aqueous liquids containing surfactants solubilizing fatty bodies, alkaline soaps, or carbonate solutions Sodium acid ionized by application of an electric field. Despite the recognized effectiveness of these methods, obtaining optimal cleaning requires, for certain types of skin, the use of the most active products for a relatively long time. The object of the invention is precisely to provide a cleaning method which makes it possible to obtain optimum cleaning both in a relatively short time and by using the mildest products. To this end, the method of the invention, which moreover complies with the generic definition given in the preamble above, is essentially characterized in that the cleaning product is applied by means of an applicator provided with a application area raised to a temperature above 37 degrees Celsius. The application surface, which is preferably brought to a temperature between 38 and 46 degrees Celsius, may be a smooth, metallic surface and heated to a controlled temperature during the application of the cleaning product. The cleaning product may in turn consist of an aqueous gel containing at least one surfactant solubilizing preferentially the fatty acids of human sebum. The invention also relates to an applicator for implementing the method as defined above, this applicator being characterized in that it takes the form of a spatula having an active section and a gripping handle. Preferably, this applicator comprises a heating element, a thermosensitive device selectively delivering a control signal dependent on the temperature of the active section, a first manually controlled switch designed to selectively connect the heating element and the thermosensitive device to a source of heat. electrical energy, and a second switch, controlled by the control signal and adapted to interconnect or isolate the heating element and the electric power source from one another according to whether the temperature of the active section is less than or equal to a certain temperature.
The active section of an applicator thus designed may have a metal application surface selectively heated by the heating element. In the preferred embodiment of the invention, the metal application surface has an area at least equal to 7 square centimeters and for example of the order of 9 square centimeters, this surface typically having a width at most equal to 1 centimeter. Other features and advantages of the invention will emerge clearly from the description which is given below, for information only and in no way limitative, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: - Figure 1 is a schematic top view of an applicator for carrying out the method of the invention; and FIG. 2 is an electric diagram that can be used in an applicator as illustrated in FIG. 1. As previously announced, the invention relates in particular to a process for the aesthetic care of the face, consisting in particular in applying a product to the skin of the face. cleaner comprising one or more surfactants chosen to solubilize preferentially the fatty acids forming part of the constitution of human sebum.
According to the invention, this cleaning product is applied by means of an applicator 1 (FIG. 1) having an application surface 100 raised to a temperature greater than 37 degrees Celsius. The application surface 100, which is preferably a smooth, metallic surface, is typically brought to a temperature of 38 to 46 degrees Celsius. Although it is possible to preheat this application surface 100 and to use its thermal inertia for at least a portion of the cleaning application operation, it may be preferable to ensure that the Application 100 is heated to a temperature controlled between 38 and 45 ° C throughout the duration of application of this cleaning product. The process of the invention may be carried out using, as a cleaning product, an aqueous gel containing one or more surfactants chosen to solubilize preferentially the fatty acids of human sebum. As shown in Figure 1, this cleaning product can be applied to the skin of the face by means of an applicator 1 in the form of a spatula and having an active section 10 and a gripping handle 11. The application surface metal 100 is carried by the active section 10 and heated at will by a heating element, such as an electrical resistance R (Figure 2), either directly or via any conductive mass forming thermal flywheel.
Preferably, the application surface 100 has an area equal to or greater than 7 square centimeters, for example of the order of 9 square centimeters, and a width less than or equal to 1 centimeter. FIG. 2 illustrates the diagram of an electric circuit that can be integrated in the applicator 1 to ensure the heating of the application surface 100.
Such a circuit comprises, in addition to the heating element R and possibly a source of electrical energy such as a battery P, a thermosensitive device K and two switches I1 and I2.
The battery P is for example constituted by a rechargeable battery housed in the handle 11 of the applicator 1. The thermosensitive device K is equipped with a temperature sensor (not visible) thermally bonded to the application surface 100. This device K can thus deliver, when it is supplied with electrical energy, a control signal Sk depending on the temperature of this application surface 100.
The switch I1 is for example arranged on the handle 11 so that it can be controlled manually. This switch I1 makes it possible to connect at will the heating element R and the thermosensitive device K 20 to one of the terminals of the electrical power source P. However, while the thermosensitive device K is permanently connected to the other terminal of the source P, for example constituted by the mass, the heating element R is connected to this other terminal only through the second switch I2. This switch I2, which is controlled by the control signal Sk delivered by the thermosensitive device K, thus enables the heating element R to be or not to be supplied with electricity by the electric power source P, according to that the temperature of the application surface 100 is lower, or on the contrary equal to or greater than 6, to the target temperature, i.e. at a temperature between 38 and 46 ° C. The movement of the spatula on the skin takes place slowly, so as to transmit the heat to the cleaning product and thus facilitate the endogenous and exogenous fatty acid chemical dissolution reaction. Not only does the heat applied to the epidermis promote the dilation of the pores, thin the sebum and facilitate its flow, but the secretion of the sweat glands is itself activated under the combined effect of heat and moisture brought by the cleaning product.
