Abstract

The device has a focusing lens (18) for focusing the information, and is integrated in a rearview mirror of the vehicle. The device has dichroic mirrors (14, 15) for isolating the monochromatic beams from a light beam (11).

La presente invention concerne les véhicules automobiles notamment terrestres et, plus particulièrement, un dispositif de projection d'informations d'un véhicule automobile. Dans de nombreuses circonstances au cours de l'utilisation d'un véhicule automobile, il est nécessaire que des usagers situés à l'extérieur du véhicule puissent avoir accès à des informations généralement disponibles uniquement à l'intérieur du véhicule. Depuis un certain nombre d'années, l'usage de l'électronique et de l'informatique s'est développé à bord des véhicules automobiles, de sorte que les informations disponibles à l'intérieur de l'habitacle sont désormais multiples et variées. En effet, le véhicule est doté d'une multitude de capteurs renseignant le conducteur à chaque instant sur la température extérieure, l'heure, le jour de l'année, la position du véhicule par exemple. Dans les véhicules automobiles actuels, toutes ces informations sont malheureusement inutilisées dès lors que l'utilisateur coupe le contact, c'est-à-dire l'alimentation du véhicule, notamment lorsque le véhicule est en stationnement. Dans ce contexte, l'invention vise à fournir un dispositif permettant d'utiliser ces informations lorsque le véhicule automobile est en stationnement, par exemple en ville, et notamment en rendant accessible ces informations aux usagers situés à l'extérieur du véhicule. La figure 1 est une représentation schématique du principe de fonctionnement d'un dispositif de projection d'informations 100 intégré dans un véhicule automobile, selon l'invention. Selon un mode de réalisation avantageux de l'invention, le dispositif de projection d'informations 100 est un dispositif comportant un afficheur à cristaux liquides (Liquid Crystal Display, en langue anglaise) et plus précisément comportant trois afficheurs à cristaux liquides 16a, 16b, et 16c. Ce type d'afficheur n'émettant pas de lumière, il est nécessaire d'utiliser une source lumineuse. Un faisceau de lumière 11 est donc généré par une lampe 12.
