Abstract

The method involves communicating a centralizer point e.g. subscriber box (21), with a user terminal e.g. portable cellular phone (10), through a telephonic connection, where the telephonic connection between the user terminal and the centralizer point ensures gain of end to end bandwidth to be sufficiently large for providing a quick connection and image quality equivalent to a direct video telephony. A service access is carried out by a telephone call from the user terminal to a video telephony access. An independent claim is also included for a system for controlling a remote equipment with video telephony.
