Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device for increasing the visibility and thus a better safety of staff working at night on a road or highway (rescue personnel, highway personnel, etc ....).
Until now, these staff are equipped with reflective vests. The visibility of this type of equipment is limited to about 25 meters as they only reflect when illuminated by the headlights of a vehicle. The device according to the invention makes it possible to increase this visibility beyond 120 meters and thus ensure better safety for people on the road or 10 motorway at night. The device according to the invention consists of a transparent and removable flexible plastic triangle in which is inserted a luminescent and flashing red device representing a triangle inside which is arranged the letter A also luminescent and flashing. The luminescent and flashing system is powered by a box comprising the autonomous and rechargeable batteries and a pushbutton for commissioning. The case is located in a waterproof pocket inside the vest. The passage of the power cables is done through a plastic eyelet placed on the vest. The device according to the invention is attached to the vest by scratches sewn on the vest. The luminescent wires are placed in a transparent sheath for better resistance. The device according to the invention consists of two triangles made of flexible and transparent plastic. The luminescent system is stuck on the first triangle, the second triangle is thermobonded on the first to ensure a perfect seal of the whole. The fastening scratches are heat-sealed on the back of the first triangle along the three sides. The initial 25 dimensions are 46 cm on the side for triangles made of flexible plastic and transparent and 45 cm on the side for the red triangle luminescent and flashing. These dimensions are likely to be modified according to the size of the vest.
The device according to the invention may comprise, in addition, a variant depending on the specific demands of certain professions, namely, two strips 15 cm wide and 40 cm long made of flexible and transparent plastic located on the front of the body. vest in which is inserted a luminescent wire and flashing red color zigzag. The power supply and the commissioning of this variant are ensured by the same batteries and the same push button. The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: FIG. 1 represents the device of the invention. - Figure 2 shows the variant. The device of the invention is particularly intended for the safety of staff working on night roads and individuals who have failed and need to report their presence.
