Abstract

The chimney has a frame comprising a furnace (30) presenting an opening, and a door (1) e.g. guillotine door, slid between closed and open positions. The door closes and opens the opening in the closed and open positions, respectively. A sealing device comprises a slat (13) and a cladding screw (16) for integrating the door, and includes an inclined surface (33) and a bulge (43) for integrating the frame. The device is arranged in a manner that the surface and the bulge cooperate for flattening and maintaining the door against the furnace when the door is arranged in a closed position.
