Abstract

The method involves determining a theoretical behavior of a solid material by simulation using a polycrystalline model of a stress on the material, where the material is represented by representation grains regrouping orientation crystalline grains. The theoretical behavior is compared with a real behavior obtained from a mechanical test base. Number of representation grains or parameter of a texture utilized by the polycrystalline model is modified to adjust the polycrystalline model based on the comparison.
