Si on trace deux droites HE et GF parallèles à la diagonale DB du quadrilatère, ces deux droites seront toujours située dans un même plan quelle que soit la déformation du quadrilatère. Cette propriété permet de relier une surface plane HEGF à une surface gauche ABCD. Ces points seront reliés ensembles et l'extrémité des liaisons KLMN seront rigidement fixées à la surface plane , en l'occurrence le plateau de la table . -3- Les barres AA' BB' CC' DD' constitueront les pieds de la table et se déplaceront parallèlement à eux mêmes. La figure 3 montre la constitution de ce type de table plus particulièrement adapté pour les tables rondes ou carrées, ( Table parallèle) .
