Abstract

The platform has a multimedia server (IMG) comprising a unit to download a file e.g. flash file, for a mobile terminal. The server loads a software module (103) for reading or executing the file for the terminal. The server transmits a data stream representing file reading or file execution, to a gateway and to the terminal. The server has a multimedia session (105) known from an application server (SVI) and associated to the terminal. The session has a container (104) with a unit to load or release the software module from memory resources of the server (IMG) or an Internet server. An independent claim is also included for a communication method for which a gateway is in communication with a mobile terminal.
