Abstract

The tube has a tubular element (1) formed of flexible bio-compatible material e.g. PVC, and introduced into stomach of a patient through rhinolalia, while passing via oesophagus of the patient. The element has distal and proximal cuffs (4, 5), made of siliconized membrane, respectively associated to external control inflating units (4-1, 5-1), where the proximal cuff is inflated by the unit (5-1), and the distal cuff is deflated by the unit (4-1). The cuff (4) is mounted near a distal end of the element, and the cuff (5) is mounted upstream of the distal cuff relative to the distal end.

Les spécialistes ont déjà cherché à remédier aux problèmes posés par le reflux gastro-oesophagien, mais, le seul moyen s'étant avéré efficace pour réduire l'incidence des pneumopathies d'inhalation consiste 20 à placer les patients en secteur de réanimation en position proclive à 30 .
