Abstract

The system has a software controller interface e.g. personal digital assistant interface, controlling an electrical apparatus e.g. heating apparatus. A master module transmits instructions of directions such as upper, lower, right and left directions, to a slave module e.g. interruptor type slave module, using a carrier current for controlling the apparatus in an electrical network (7) e.g. home systems network, where the instructions are displayed by the interface. The slave module transmits the information on a value of the apparatus to the master module by the current. An independent claim is also included for a method of remotely controlling an electrical apparatus.
