Abstract

The accordion has a left keyboard comprising seven rows and composed of two juxtaposed sub-keyboards. One sub-keyboard has four rows of buttons vertical and parallel to disposition of notes of a right keyboard. The other sub-keyboard has three rows with notes such that notes of adjacent rows are equal to a musical interval of k tones, where k varies from zero to five octave. Each group of any four consecutive notes in one row forms an adjacent series with a group of any four consecutive notes of another row.

Description

gl-DESCRIPmIQNgl-DESCRIPmIQN

The present invention relates to musical instruments and more particularly to accordions or instruments of a similar type.

The current accordion includes two keyboards, one used for the melody, on the right, the other by the left hand for accompaniment. The first is composed of buttons buttons or piano chromatic spaced a semitone; the second only buttons-buttons say bass and chords.

Each key controls a valve opening or closing an orifice in which is disposed a free reed vibrating the passage of air produced by a bellows actuated by the left arm.

The accordion's basic right keyboard consists of three rows of buttons for the button-button instruments, the notes of each row being arranged vertically at a harmonic interval of a minor third between two consecutive keys. The appended drawing in FIG. 1 given solely by way of example represents a so-called "Italian" keyboard, the best known of an octave whose notes are symmetrical and corresponding to the following ones: al: do3; bl: c # 3; cl: re3, a2: re # 3; b2: e3; c2: fa3i a3: fa # 3b3: sol3; c3: so1 # 3 a4: 1a3; b4: the # 3; c4: si3; a5: do of octave 4 etc ...

le lai étant le la du diapason.the lai being the one of the tuning fork.

In FIG. 2 is shown an additional fourth row doubling the first commonly used to facilitate execution. These four rows have become in fact the most common basic keyboard of the accordion whose octave 3 notes are: dl: do3 el: do sharp: fl: rd: d sharp d2: d sharp e2 : mi f2: fa g2: f sharp d3: f sharp e3: ground f3: sharp ground g3: the d4: the e4: the sharp f4: if g4: do4 d5: do4 etc ...

In other systems (Belgian, Russian, Finnish etc ...) the notes of each of the basic rows can be inverted: 10 a can be in b or c; b in a or c; c in a or b.

On a traditional accordion, the left keyboard is composed of two groups of vertical rows of keys: a / keys producing single notes or "bass pedals" whose range is an octave or 12 notes of a half These notes in variable quantities forming a multiple of twelve are arranged in two or three parallel vertical rows, each of them being separated from the preceding by a harmonic interval of a right fifth (Ex: C / Sol).

La rangée contiguë à celle ci-dessus des accords mineurs (Ex: Do mib Sol);la rangée contiguë à celle ci-dessus des accords de bouble-tierces mineures (Ex:do/mib/fa dièse).Ce clavier ne per-met donc que de ne disposer que d'accords composés pré-fixés souvent contraires aux lois de l'harmonie puisqu'aucun renverse-ment n'est possible.  b / keys producing so-called chord notes arranged normally in three rows parallel to those of group a /, the contiguous row of this second group in the first group produces major chords (Ex: do / mi / sol). The row contiguous to the above minor chords (Ex: Do mib Sol), the row contiguous to the above minor chord-thirds chords (Ex: do / mib / f sharp) .This keyboard does not allow It is therefore necessary to have only pre-set compound chords that are often contrary to the laws of harmony since no reversal is possible.

There is also another left keyboard of different design equipping the so-called concertina accordions having the following particularities: a keyboard of identical four-row color keys to the right keyboard (FIG. 2), whose low notes can be either in up at the bottom of the keyboard, -a second one. sub-keyboard of two rows of so-called "bass-pedals" keys of an octave range whose notes are ordered in fifth straight in the vertical direction, and third major in the horizontal direction, or do / sol for the first and do / mi for the seconds. This keyboard although perfected compared to the traditional accordion does not allow the musical harmonic classical accompaniment because it is formed of two sub-keyboards not responding to the same plane of notes making the execution practically unachievable in this mode of interpretation.

The present invention overcomes this problem by means of a left keyboard. (of which an octave is reproduced in FIG. 3) composed of the two sub-keyboards that are the subject of FIGS. 1 and 2 juxtaposed so as to form a set of seven rows, that is to say a type of four-row keyboard extended by the type of three-row basic keyboard limited to one octave, the link principle between the two being that any four consecutive notes of the row a are in the extension of four consecutive notes of the row g. For example, it could be the notes do / mib or d sharp / soib-f sharp / the row g whose extension would concern the notes mib-dd sharp / solb-f sharp / la / do of the row a in the direction tilted to the left., being further indicated that the two groups of four consecutive notes have between them an interval of K degrees or tones (K being equal to 0 to five octaves).
