Abstract
The method involves determining a closure force of a brake shoe from a closure force of another brake shoe by taking into account a correction value depending on an operating state. The correction value is a coefficient that is determined from a relation between the coefficients of friction and the course of displacement of the brake shoes. Each brake shoe slides on an inclined plane with respect to the peripheral direction of a disk brake in a brake caliper. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle brake installation comprising auto-amplifying electromechanical right and left disc brakes.
