Abstract

The invention concerns a connector (13) for coaxial cable (1) provided with an inner tubular conductor (5) and an outer corrugated conductor (2) separated by a dielectric material (6), said connector (13) consisting of a body (14) whereon is maintained a pin (10) by means of a washer (11) of insulating material, a rear threaded nut (7) which is screwed on the body (14) of the connector (13) and two cable-clamping shells (16, 17) inserted inside the nut (7), arranged opposite each other around the cable (1) and radially compressing the coaxial cable. The invention is characterized in that the contact zone (12) of the pin (10) with the inside of the inner conductor (5) is conical, the outer conductor (2) being squeezed between the cable-clamping shells (16, 17) and the body (14) so as to provide an external contact, said cable-clamping shells (16, 17) being stressed against the body by the rear nut (7).
