Abstract

A comparator compares the sum of power of the correlated real (I) and imaginary (Q) data against preset threshold and outputs a compare indication signal which is monitored by sync lock controller. A phase compensator offsets the phase of I and Q data based on phase offset signal from phase calculator and outputs phase adjusted I and Q data under the control of lock control signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) sync signal generation method; and (2) sync signal detector.
