The invention relates to a method of deployment on an operating area of a material transported in at least one package. The invention finds particular utility in the installation of mobile antennas that must be moved rapidly such as radar antennas. These antennas have a great hold in the wind and therefore have a strong reversal torque in their support.
To fight against the overthrow we can use a guying system. This system has the disadvantage of being effective only when the stays are hooked as high as possible in the structure of the antenna. The stay cables then obstruct any movements of the antenna during its operation. In addition, the fixing of the guys to the ground can cause difficulties depending on the nature of the ground.
Another way to fight against the reversal is to fix the antenna on a support including folding support legs. The support and legs folded up to the maximum size of a transport package of the antenna. The size of the package is limited by the means of transport from the antenna to its operating area. When installing the antenna on its operating area, unfold the legs to rest on the ground as far as possible from the support to ensure the stability of the antenna. These legs constitute a mass and a dead volume which diminish the capacity of the material to be transported.
The invention aims to overcome the problems mentioned above by proposing a method where the dead elements are reduced to a minimum. The invention also makes it possible to mitigate problems related to a rugged nature of the ground of the operating area.
To this end, the subject of the invention is a method of deploying, on an operating area, a material transported in at least one package, characterized in that it consists in carrying out the following operations:
position the first package on the operating area, secure a support to the first package, position the material on the support, lock the position of the material relative to the support.
The support may optionally be formed by another package.
The invention will be better understood and other advantages will appear on reading the detailed description of embodiments given by way of example, a description illustrated by the attached drawing in which: FIG. 1 represents various elements to be assembled on an area Operating ; Figure 2 shows the elements of Figure 1 when assembled; Figures 3a to 3e show the assembly of elements on an operating area whose ground is uneven.
For the sake of clarity, the same elements will bear the same references in the different figures.
Figure 1 shows a material 1, such as a radar antenna can be moved. The material is secured to a support 2 whose size allows transport in a package 3. In other words, the equipment 1 and its support 2 are adapted to be transported in the package 3. the dimensions of the package 3 can be standardized and are limited by the means of transport used. For example, the package 3 must be able to be loaded on a truck. As a result, the dimensions of the support 2 are generally not sufficient to, on its own, offer a torque resistant to a possible reversal of the equipment 1 from the wind. A second package 4 can carry servitude elements making it possible to operate the equipment. The service elements comprise, for example, power supply means and connection cables. FIG. 2 represents the elements of FIG. 1 when assembled in accordance with the invention on an operating area 5. A method according to the invention consists in positioning the package 3 on the operating area 5, securing the support 2 in the first package 3, position the material 1 on the support 2, lock the position of the material 1 relative to the support 2.
The various operations of the method can be chained in a different order so as to allow the assembly of the package 3 and the support 2 on the operating area 5 and thus increase the support surface of the support 3 on the operating area 5.
Advantageously, to further increase the support surface of the support 3 on the operating area 5, the package 4 is secured to the assembly formed by the support 2 and the package 3. In Figure 2, the package 4 is secured to the support 2. It could also secure the package 4 to the package 3.
The securing operations of the various elements together can be achieved by any removable means such as devices having screwed elements or latches.
Figures 3a to 3e show the assembly of elements according to the invention on an operating area 5 whose ground is uneven.
In a first step shown in Figure 3a, the package 3 is deposited from a carrier, such as a truck, with a package handling device 6.
In a second step shown in Figure 3b, the package 3 is positioned on the operating area 5 by means of crutches 7 adjustable in height.
In a third step shown in Figure 3c, the support 2 is secured to the package 3 while maintaining a degree of freedom in rotation and the position of the support 2 is adjusted by means of a stand 8 adjustable in height.
In a fourth step shown in Figure 3d, the material 1 is positioned on the support 2 by moving horizontally on the support 2. In this step, it is possible to replace the material 1 with another package such as for example the package 4. Advantageously, the support 2 comprises rollers allowing the material 1 to move horizontally without effort on the support 2.
In a fifth step shown in FIG. 3e, the position of the material 1, or possibly the package 4, is locked relative to the support 2 by fixing the material 1 to the first package 3.
This gives a stable assembly whose level can be adjusted correctly despite the rugged nature of the ground of the operating area 5.
