Abstract
L'invention concerne une feuille de verre bombée dont au moins une de ses faces principales est activée. L'activation peut notamment être réalisée par abrasion par frottement direct de la surface du verre. Avantageusement, on utilise une bande abrasive fermée sur elle-même et défilant à la surface du verre. Après activation, on peut réaliser un dépôt d'une couche hydrophobe à partir par exemple d'un silane fluoré. Le verre revêtu d'une couche hydrophobe peut servir de vitrage de véhicule automobile.
