RESUME DE L'INVENTION Le procédé de découpe selon l'invention se caractérise en ce qu'il consiste à placer, le long du duplicata de l'arcade dentaire, à proximité des attaches d'orthodontie, au moins un fil positionné de manière à être également recouvert par le matériau constitutif du support et à permettre, après l'opération de collage en bouche desdites attaches, la découpe de la paroi longitudinale dudit support par une action d'arrachement exercée sur ledit fil. Le support ainsi découpé s'enlève facilement puisqu'il présente une ouverture longitudinale sur toute l'épaisseur du matériau qui le compose. Il intègre donc, une fois réalisé sur le duplicata de l'arcade concernée, les attaches, les masses d'adhésif et au moins un fil de découpe dudit matériau. Dans le cas de l'utilisation d'un adhésif photopolymérisable, le support intègre également, en addition, des moyens d'éclairage positionnés et adaptés pour éclairer simultanément, en bouche, les masses d'adhésif. PRESENTATION DES FIGURES Les caractéristiques et les avantages de l'invention vont apparaître plus clairement à la lecture de la description détaillée qui suit d'un mode de réalisation préféré de celle-ci donné à titre d'exemple non limitatif et représenté aux dessins annexés. Ledit support est généralement réalisé au moyen d'un matériau déformable (1), polymérisable, plaqué le long du duplicata de l'arcade concernée de manière à recouvrir lesdites attaches qui sont préalablement positionnées sur chaque face vestibulaire et/ou linguale des dents concernées du duplicata. L'ensemble comprenant le support (1) et les attaches (2) est ensuite désolidarisé du duplicata pour être positionné sur les dents (3) du patient afin d'effectuer l'opération de collage proprement dite. Le support (1) est enfin retiré de la bouche du patient une fois les attaches collées; Le procédé de découpe du support (1) consiste à placer, le long du duplicata de l'arcade dentaire, à proximité des attaches (2), au moins un fil (4) positionné de manière à être également recouvert par le matériau constitutif dudit support et à permettre, après l'opération de collage en bouche desdites attaches, la découpe de la paroi longitudinale dudit support par une action d'arrachement (F) exercée sur ledit fil, la découpe du support s'effectuant selon l'axe (D). Le support en question est donc constitué du matériau polymérisable (1) qui intègre les attaches (2) et au moins un fil (4) de découpe dudit matériau. Les avantages majeurs d'un tel dispositif se manifestent à plusieurs niveaux: - La sécurité de découpe du matériau est assurée en évitant à l'opérateur l'emploi d'instruments tranchants, avec les risques potentiels qui en découlent au moment de leur manipulation. - La découpe du matériau est réalisée avec une grande précision, en position juxtaocclusale par rapport aux attaches, et permet d'obtenir deux parties bien distinctes: .. la partie la plus volumineuse, correspondant au matériau n'entrant pas en contact avec les différentes attaches orthodontiques et se situant en regard des parois linguales et occlusales (comme l'illustre la figure 1), peut être retirée sans risque d'exercer une quelconque force sur les attaches nouvellement collés; l'autre partie, correspondant à la partie la moins volumineuse du matériau en contact avec les attaches, peut être retirée sans exercer aucune force de cisaillement sur les dispositifs orthodontiques. La rapidité d'exécution, aussi bien au moment du positionnement qu'au moment du retrait du support, offre d'avantage de confort pour le patient et pour l'équipe soignante. Dans le cas de l'utilisation d'un adhésif photopolymérisable, le matériau (1) intègre, en addition, des moyens d'éclairage positionnés et adaptés pour éclairer simultanément, en bouche, les masses d'adhésif. Les moyens d'éclairage peuvent être choisis parmi des fibres optiques, des guides d'ondes liquides, des guides d'ondes rigides pourvus d'éléments réfléchissant les rayons lumineux, des guides d'ondes à base de polymères. Les terminaisons des moyens d'éclairage peuvent être choisies parmi: - une masse d'élastomère transluminescent polymérisable recouvrant chaque attache (2), le matériau (1) étant, dans ce cas, un élastomère opaque et réfléchissant; - une capsule transluminescente destinée à s'emboîter sur chaque attache (2), le matériau (1) étant, dans ce cas, un élastomère opaque et réfléchissant; - l'attache (2) elle même qui comporte une borne permettant la fixation des moyens d'éclairage et dont la paroi au contact de l'adhésif est transluminescente. Le support peut être constituée d'un support global destiné à coller, de manière simultanée, les deux arcades dentaires d'un même patient.
