Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to a device for collecting, deflecting and

  universal extension for belt. This device is intended for certain carrying systems or harnessing and strapping systems, it allows to work a single strap, in contact with the body of the user or that of any object, in two different planes of

space.

  The aim is to allow a modularity of the architecture of the belt resulting in greater functionality to adapt to relatively complex shapes.

  The device according to the invention makes it possible to meet these needs, it comprises in fact according to a first characteristic a small plastic case, provided with projections and various arrangements. These projections and arrangements, organized symmetrically with respect to a median axis, allow the passage and orientation of a belt. The passage of a belt in the device allows it to change direction by turning it flat, in order to generate a complex web structure.

  According to a second characteristic, the device can incorporate on its protruding parts in contact with the belt, small rollers of free-rolling metal mounted on small axial studs and designed to limit friction.

  According to particular embodiments: The device can be simply located on a belt or be secured to the body 20 of any object.

  - The size of the diversion box and its arrangements vary, they are conditioned by the width of the strap.

  - The reliefs and arrangements for channeling the belts and ease of passage may vary slightly depending on the frictional stresses encountered in different applications.

  With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a small plastic case: the deflection box (1). The deflection box (1), (Fig. 1) is a small parallelepipedic plastic block with specific reliefs and projections for catching, orienting and deflecting a belt (2), (Fig. 9). These reliefs and projections are organized symmetrically along a median axis transverse to the piece. Thus it is observed that the deflection box (1) has two upper or upper slotted openings (3), (Figure 2) rectangular profiles and arranged on the top of the parallelepiped through which enters or leaves a belt (2). The deflection box (1) also has two side or lateral slits (4), (Figs 5 and 6) of rectangular profiles formed on the short sides of the parallelepiped through which a belt (2) enters or leaves. These upper (3) and lateral (4) trenches are superimposed and develop in two parallel planes, they communicate through specific openings.

  These specific openings in the form of slots and two in number, have rounded edges and are inclined at forty-five degrees, so that their reliefs form a form of exploded circumflex accent, they are called deflection slots (5), ( Fig. 3). The deflection slots (5) serve to turn the belt (2) flat by making it turn ninety degrees upwards or to the side which results in turning the latter, so that it finds himself working in a secant plan in relation to his initial development plan. In order to reduce the friction between its protruding parts in contact with the belt (2), the device can incorporate small free-rolling metal cylinders mounted on small axial studs. Thus the edges of the deflection slots (5) in contact with the belt (2) can integrate these bearings which in fact are found inclined at forty five degrees, they are called deflection bearings (6), (Figure 10). 4 CLAIMS   1. Device for catching, deflecting and universal extension belt (2) for harnessing or carrying systems characterized in that it comprises a small housing: "the deflection box" (1), (Fig. 1) provided with specific reliefs and projections which allow the passage of a belt (2), (Fig. 9) and its orientation, facilitated by the action of small metal cylinders (6), (Fig. 10; 12 and 13) with free rotation.   2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the deflection box (1) is a small mass of parallelepiped plastic with specific reliefs and projections which are organized symmetrically along a median axis transverse to the workpiece.   3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the deflection box (1) has two upper openings or upper trenches (3), (2) of rectangular profiles and arranged on the top of the parallelepiped, allowing the passage of a belt (2), (Fig. 9).   4.
