Abstract

L'invention concerne un piston (10) pour moteur, adapté à coulisser dans un cylindre (32) dont une des extrémités est obturée par la face interne (36) d'un élément de culasse (38), une commande d'allumage (40) s'étendant en saillie de ladite face interne (36), ledit piston (10) présentant une surface supérieure (16) dont une première partie (18) est rapprochée de ladite face interne (36) et une zone en creux (22) formant cavité est éloignée de ladite face interne (36) pour ménager une chambre de combustion (34), lorsque le piston (10) est rapproché dudit élément de culasse (38) ; ladite zone en creux (22) présentant deux portions sensiblement symétriques l'une de l'autre et qui se rejoignent au centre, lesdites portions symétriques formant deux demi-cavités (24, 26) adaptées à s'étendre à partir de ladite commande d'allumage (40).
