Abstract
The collector box (2) of a heat exchanger (1) houses a number of reinforcing plates (20) brazed to the walls of the exchanger. The reinforcing plates are laminated and folded to a crenellated profile. The crenellations profiles of two adjacent laminations are mutually offset in the longitudinal direction to form passages (44) connecting adjacent spaces to the two faces of the plates.
