Abstract

The intercard has a universal module to interlink all types of intercoms and answering machines existing in market. The module is presented in a form of a box equipped with a nesting socket of a telephone and is directly connected to a telephone socket. The module directs call coming from the intercom or from telephone towards the answering machine in case of absence of a user.

Description

The present invention consists in producing an electronic module which

will allow

  the interconnection of an intercom and a doorbell to an answering machine.

  The principle is to detect the ringtone of the doorkeeper so as to switch the communication on the phone.

  The telephone is then connected to the doorphone intercom and communication is established directly.

  The station having an answering machine then transmits its greeting and then waits for the message of the visitor.

  The visitor's message is written on the answering machine.

  Communication is then interrupted to the porter to recover to the telephone line.

  The INTERCARTE will initially integrate an interactive "messaging" module (Transmitting - Receiving Messages), which will avoid a technical intervention for connection to the answering machine.

  Once proven concept utility, it will convince, or compel responder manufacturers, to provide this option as standard on their equipment, and equip them accordingly.

  Therefore, two versions of the INTERCARTE would be available:> A version that we will call Ml (model) for public that does not have an answering machine (direct connection to the intercom).

  > An M2 version (model 2) for public purchaser of an answering machine (Interphone connection option provided as standard).

  Physical characteristics: The physical aspect will not be stopped until the production phase if the project succeeds, but the product:> Ml will have to be small but especially of a small cost and distributed in all the commercial surfaces, thus within reach of all.

  M2 integrable in the form of a card to the responder (s) with prior commercial agreement with the manufacturer (s).

  The interface Ml to design will have to integrate an interactive module "messaging" (Emission - Reception of Messages), commonly used in other sectors.

  Of almost elementary design, its mode of realization (study and diagrams) will however be provided in a second time by the company LMAE. he

  The M2 interface will equip future generations of answering machines.

  Its role: TRANSMIT THE ELECTRICAL SIGNAL from the ringtone in TELEPHONE FORMAT that can trigger the answering machine in order to ESTABLISH an INTERACTIVE CONNECTION with the visitor.

  The INTERCARTE concept does not intervene at any level of the network (see "Coverage & operation"), so this does not pose a problem of ethics and remains in the legal framework vis-à-vis France TELECOM or any other operator.

  Coverage and operation of the process Technically, the INTERCARTE M2 principle consists of disconnecting the answering machine from the telephone with a cut-off flag, recording a message and then re-establishing the answering-telephone connection.

  The intercom is connected to the INTERCARTE M2 which itself is integrated into the answering machine in the standby position. In this state, M2 does not interfere with the operation of two other completely autonomous systems (intercom and answering machine).

  In case of absence, the owner activates the process by a joystick or button. The answering machine remains connected to the phone assuming its primary role, however M2 will now intercept any signal from the intercom.

  In this case, the M2 INTEFACE generates an interruption of the answering machine connection, and activates and manages the Intercom answering machine link.

  The announcement of the answering machine is then transmitted to the Intercom, then the visitor can send his message which will be recorded on the answering machine.

  Lastly, the answering machine connection is restored.

  It should be noted that during these operations, if a telephone call occurs, the line busy signal will be returned.

  The principle INTERCARTE Ml is to play the role of the answering machine. In the active position, the "Messaging" chip delivers its message and saves the returned information.
