Abstract

The security capsule for a bottle has a central threaded stopper (2) and an upper seal (3) which can be removed by pulling on a tongue (4). The plastic capsule has an upper sidewall extension to form a collar (5). The collar has a screw thread to receive a stopper. The capsule can also be connected to the package by the upper collar.

Description

Internalized safety capsules

  The present invention relates to a device for closing single-use packaging of the bottle or pack type, in particular nestable, recyclable, while respecting the known method of filling and fixing the lid. The sealed capsule is available in a range of occlusion devices for packs, the concept of which allows progress in terms of storage and hygiene.

  Conventionally, the plug system protrudes from the packaging exposed to contamination; this arrangement makes it difficult to fix the plugs in the last position due to the difficulty of accessing the internal face of the packaging. Finally, the protrusion of the caps complicates storage. These are the problems posed by food packaging as well as medical and chemical packaging.

  It is known from patent PCT / FROO / 00008 of stackable bottle or pack provided with a pouring spout with stopper on the lid or removable cover "from which the description of the stackable packaging is potentially retained.

  The device according to the invention allows proper occlusion of the packaging due to the external position of the cover. The internalized capsule strengthens the packaging opposite its opening. The first assembly of the capsule makes it easy to fix any plug or equivalent before fixing it. The space between the two lid and capsule elements is modular and opens up many possibilities. The device allows several levels of security: seal, capsule and or cap 25 and or second seal under the cap corresponding to additional levels of hygiene. This second element can also be a plastic or metallic protection covering a piercing stopper placed in the neck of the bottle, which corresponds to medical hygiene standards. This packaging meets the current needs for rigid, nestable, recyclable plastic storage. This is a whole range of products, the simplest of which has at least one stopper, sealed or not, retracted inside the packaging, the dimensions of which have been adapted to accommodate the device; all the others combine at least one other element of protection.

  According to particular embodiments: Figure 1 Bottle with capsule (1) and centered screw cap (2). During use, the cover (3) is removed by pulling on the tongue (4). The plastic capsule extends at its upper edge, on the periphery of a flange (5) and has a thread pitch of suitable height intended to receive the plug itself.

  Figure 5 shows a side-to-side heat seal that allows you to join the conventional procedure.

  The invention therefore relates to an encapsulation device or occlusion device for packaging, characterized in that the capsule is internalized and secure or in that the occlusion device is located in the volume of the packaging materialized by its edges. and closed by a cover below the walls, thus providing a packaging with at least two securing devices consisting of the cover and / or the capsule and / or the cap, or a new cover under the cap; to adapt to hygiene standards. Thus the invention provides a sterile packaging due to the presence of the outer seal which hermetically encloses the volume containing the stopper which advantageously covers the seal closing the container.

  The sealed capsule consists of at least two elements, the capsule and the seal. The seal is the most external and closes the packaging. The cover, whatever composition it is, is constant fixed by gluing, welding .. etc. ; to the packaging secondarily to the capsule. Once the cover has been removed, the capsule appears. This is congruent with the packaging, includes an outwardly facing peripheral flange which will allow fixing. Its lateral-lateral fixing is done by gluing, screwing or welding, of the ultrasonic or high frequency type ... once it is in contact with the centering ergo. It is possible to carry out a fixing in a single time capsule lid if the collar is suitable.

  The manufacture of the capsule and in particular the fixing of any type of plug is easy due to the access on two sides. Its composition is plastic, PET R OR any other material. The volume occupied by the cap system is less worrying and remains compatible with easy storage. The capsule constitutes a reinforcement granting better resistance to the whole. The seal will guarantee lasting hygiene of the external face of the capsule.

  This capsule delimits a stage protected under the cover (Fig 2) of variable height. It can be used to house any type of "plug" existing to date and possibly offer to place removable handle, straw, or any other necessary addition to the content. They can also be temperature, UV indicators, promotional games, second components or oxygen chelators. In the medical world, other specific additions are possible such as air intake, perfusion tubing, etc.

  These encapsulations are compatible with all forms of packaging, in particular polygonal, which gives them better mechanical and aesthetic resistance; for example of the pentagonal type. This honeycomb shape makes it possible to minimize the spaces between the elements which will be able to nest and improve the solidity during transverse storage; just as the absence of relief improves it vertically. On the packaging of the furrows of anchorages and / or equivalent to the action of an O-ring type; are sometimes necessary to receive a 50 cover.

  There are many variations depending on the destination of the liquid, gaseous, gelatinous, pasty, solid content ...

  In food, a distinction must be made between packaging for non-gaseous liquids: the 5 lid contains: a cover, a capsule with a screw cap or even a clipable pouring spout. (Fig. 1,2) Small volumes can benefit from a device for drinking on the feast and or from a straw.

  Soft drinks (beer, coke, etc.) are readily consumed in a container with a wide opening.

  Either we can add a fixed, soft glass rounded edge and neck to the top of the glass-like packaging. The capsule is an external collar fixed on the lower and external portion of the neck, released by a cutting wire, plastic tear, or other.

  The lid, plastic or otherwise, will be attached to the top of the capsule after filling and released with it.

  Either the upper portion of the glass can be finalized in two stages: release of the sliding movement of the capsule by removing a cutting wire for example then pressure on the whole of the capsule to roll up the edge of the glass, on the outside of the packaging. It corresponds to a thinner thickness of plastic material preserving a clean and soft external face to the glass; as much as a wide opening. An annular reinforcement is projected at the top of the glass, facilitates turning over in a thermowell; the second reinforcement locks the outer skirt in its lower part above the capsule attachment zone. (Fig 3) Another variant can be a cover placed on an inverted cone capsule on a collar of the type of that of the two models described above. This cone can also be uncapped and released by a wire for example. It can then be turned over and fitted onto the packaging, providing an ergonomic external reinforcement under the neck of the container or acting as a glass base, lid, cup, etc.

  A variant comes from the same less expensive invention: the roll-up bottle 30. It is a bottle whose particularity is to have a thinner plastic collar with potentially two upper and lower reinforcements. The bottle is of conventional manufacture with a cutting wire, or any other equivalent means under the lower reinforcement. The filling respects the procedures currently used. After the plug has been put in place, a pressure 35 is printed on it which causes the flange to invaginate inside the packaging of its entire height. Gluing the lid will complete the procedure, which will allow the collar to be unwound during use. A laterolateral thermo-welding allows joining the classic procedure. In both cases the ablation of the upper floor facilitates the storage of waste. Thus the packaging becomes a glass 40 with an edge without roughness.

  A possibility of variant is characterized by a capsule screwed to the packaging which allows easy and repeated access for floury, canned food, etc. The screwing can be secured by gluing or opening indicator.

  Canned foods benefit from being stored in smaller containers.

  The cover under the cover isolates a chamber which can contain an oxygen chelator capsule ...... The cover can favorably contain a witness of exposure to excessive temperatures. In addition reusable covers are possible able or sealed clips as would allow an O-ring. The open can can be partially used and refrigerated; without transfer, which limits contamination.

  A second device can be attached to the bottom of the bottle without risk of embrittlement 5 of the assembly intended to facilitate, for example, demolding (pâté ... etc.); the conical direction of the packaging does not affect stacking and recycling. On a pallet, the packaging according to the invention can be mixed without it affecting the solidity of the assembly. Claims (10)
