Abstract

The device has a buoy (10) joined to a fissure and a semi-elastic shrouds system (11) linking the buoy to each end of the kayak. The shrouds link the buoy by swift clasps (5) that are hung on lateral rings of the buoy to a stern and prow of the kayak. Each shroud has a strap that is adjustable in length. A man carries the buoy at his back using two dorsal straps and a ventral strap.

Description

La présente invention doit permettre à un kayakisteThe present invention is intended to allow a kayaker

Actuellement l'embarquement sur un kayak classique se fait à partir d'un de ces trois scénarios.  get on or get off your boat in the open water without using a fixed or floating pontoon or with the help of a second kayak. Currently boarding a classic kayak is based on one of these three scenarios.

There remains the case of the Eskimo roll or the kayaker being in solidarity with his boat cannot be considered as disembarkation-embarkation.

This device represents for the kayaker an additional safety 10 if by accident it falls into the water without having had the possibility of skidding, thus being unable, given the instability of the kayak to re-embark on the latter. It can be used for leisure purposes, to leave the boat voluntarily, to swim in the open water or to practice underwater fishing.

The device consists of a buoy allowing the engagement of the paddler's paddle in it and a guying system to stiffen the trilogy "kayakbouée-paddle", thus transforming the whole into a stable triangulation, see drawings 1/6 to 4/6.

The accompanying drawings illustrating the invention: - Figure 1 shows a perspective view of the mounted assembly. - Figure 2 shows a close-up perspective view of the buoy.

- Figure 3 shows the front plan view of the invention.

- Figure 4 shows the right plan view of the invention.

With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a buoy (10) consisting of a flexible prismatic box (1) open on one face in which are inserted (welded or glued according to the materials used) two identical prismatic air chambers (2) spaced apart to allow engagement between them of one of the ends of the kayaker's double paddle. These boxes are each provided with a valve to ensure their inflation. On each side of the buoy, centered are the rings (4). The device also includes two guy lines (11). The shrouds connect the buoy to the kayak by quick snap hooks (5) hooked onto the lateral rings (4) of the buoy at the stern and at the bow of the kayak. Each guy (11) consists of a strap (9) adjustable in length according to the model of the kayak and of an elastic extension necessary for the rapid engagement and disengagement of the paddle from the manhole of the kayak. Only one of the side faces of the buoy is equipped with two back straps (7) and a ventral strap (8) adjustable for carrying on the back of a man of the invention.

By way of nonlimiting example, the buoy will have whatever its shape a volume of the order of 24 dm3 to ensure sufficient buoyancy buoyancy necessary to support the kayaker.

The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the safety of touring kayaks and other uses -2 requiring the ascent or descent of this type of boat.

Of the use of the invention The attached drawings of plates 5/6 (a, b, c) and 6/6 (d, e, f) illustrate the descent of the boat.

The kayaker carries the buoy on his back. The stays after having been adjusted to the size of the kayak at the start are rigged flat on the deck of the boat and linked together at the coaming by their quick snap hooks.

After removing the buoy from his back, the kayaker hooks the carabiners on either side of the buoy.

The invention being rigged, the kayaker places the free end of the paddle behind the coaming. (Drawings a and b) The kayaker comes out of the manhole, leaning on paddle 15, shifting the weight of his body towards the buoy. (Drawing c) Straddling the boat behind the coaming, the kayaker engages the free end of the paddle by blocking it in the manhole under the coaming. Drawing (d and e) By resting his left hand on the paddle, his right hand on the starboard edge of the coaming, the kayaker lets himself slide gently into the water, always shifting his weight towards the buoy. (Drawing f) The attached drawings of plates 5/6 (a, b, c) and 6/6 (d, e, f) illustrate the climb into the boat.

The kayaker is in the water, either voluntarily, in which case the buoy is already rigged on the boat. In the event of an accidental capsize, the kayaker with the strap buoy on his back can therefore install the latter while being submerged. The invention being rigged, the kayaker leans left hand on the paddle, right hand on the starboard edge of the coaming, by shifting his weight towards the buoy, he straddles the boat. (Drawing f) Straddling the kayak, behind the coaming, he clears the end of the paddle from the manhole to bring him behind him. (Drawing e and d) By resting on the paddle, always taking care to shift its weight towards the buoy, it slides into the manhole. (Drawing c) He can then degrade the invention and place it on his back.

(Dessin b et a)  The props remain flat-bridge connected by their carabiners. (Drawing b and a)
