Abstract

The invention relates to a style of modular shoes consisting of an upper part (6, 12) which is disposed on top of a lower part (3, 11). The inventive modular shoe is provided with a zip- (1, 2) or snap-type fastening system and can be adapted to any type of shoe in order to produce a shoe having a high position and a low position. The shoe model illustrated in Figure n DEG 1 displays a zip-type fastening system (1, 2): a plastic zip fastener is located at ankle level so that the user can change the shoe to the low position thereof (3). In the high position (6), the shoe is fitted with a piece of Velcro (TM) which is located on the upper front part and which connects both ends. The shoe model illustrated in Figure n DEG 2 displays a snap fastening system. In the high position, the front of the upper part of the shoe comprises an elastic strip (9) that enables the flexion of the foot. Moreover, a snap-fastener is located on the rear of the upper part (10) for inserting the foot. In order to switch to the low position, the seven snap-fasteners, which are disposed all around the shoe, must simply be unbuttoned: two of said fasteners are located on either side (8), one is located at the front (13), one is located at the rear of the lower part (7) and another is located on the rear of the upper part (10).
