Abstract

Valve actuator with electromagnet and movable part. The movable part moves as a function of current intensity in the winding of the electromagnet. The actuator includes a regulation circuit with retro-action using a signal representing the position of the movable part. It has means (54) for making linear the dependence between , an input signal ( psi ) representing a parameter, different from position, of the track of the movable part and the position signal. The input parameter is acceleration. For retro-action a return signal is used which includes the position signal, and mobile part speed signal. To obtain the speed signal a unit measure the derivative with respect to time of a position measuring signal. The making linear unit provides a signal proportional to the square of current intensity in the electromagnet winding. The actuator has a unit (64) which extracts the square root of the output signal.. A trajectory level generator, for the movable part, determines its acceleration level as a function of time in the form of a polynomial time function.
