Abstract

 The present invention relates to two gymnastic apparatuses having common points, allowing gymnasts of both sexes to create new figures in this sport, more spectacular than with the current apparatus.

It is known that there is a defined range of gymnastics equipment. These improved devices over time have remained frozen in their forms.

Despite the evolution of gymnastic technique, the gymnast feels a lack in the creation of new figures in his exhibition. We are well aware that it has evolved more than the apparatus currently available to it.

The object of the present invention overcomes this deficiency. It consists of a fixed bar and a vertical bar. These two apparatuses having several common characteristics.

First of all the system of fixing the shrouds, attached to the uprights lower than usual, using brackets which are integral with them, thus allow the gymnast to use this upper part of the uprights, clear and smoothed for the occasion.

Another of the common characteristics is the addition of smooth elements, orientable in all positions, fixed to the uprights of these apparatuses using flange devices, cardan flanges, bridle braces, as the case may be, allowing all the possible combinations.

The accompanying drawings given by way of non-limiting example in their embodiments illustrate the invention.

With reference to these drawings, FIG. 1 to 6, one of the characteristics of these apparatus relates to the guying (1) fixed lower in brackets (2) on each upright (3), unlike the guying of conventional fixed bars. Figure 3 is characterized in that the elements (13) and (14) can be positioned immediately, thanks to their oversized universal joint flange (15), knurled thumb screw (16) and safety locks (not visible) . All flanges can benefit from a quick-tightening system, depending on their respective shape, and will include numbered, letter, notched or other marks, allowing precise adjustment of the system.

Each end of these elements, will optionally include a safety tip (17).

Figures 4,5, 6, plate 2, show a variant of this device, whose stowage in brackets is identical to that of the fixed bar.

This variant is characterized by a smooth vertical bar (18) (Fig. 4), which can be of different heights, the upper end of which is provided with a safety ball (17) which can be replaced by any element ( Fig. 5,6, 7).

This vertical bar is integral with the guy wires in brackets (Fig. 4). It can be fixed by fitting into a gallows base (19) Fig. 5.

FIG. 5 represents a smooth element (20) made integral with the smooth vertical bar, by a cross brace (21). This element can be adjusted, offset to the right or to the left (22, in dotted lines) and at a height suitable for the needs of new figures. This element may

 be orientable in all directions by replacing the flange (21) with a universal joint flange, or suitable composite flange.

For example, the end of this smooth vertical bar is here provided with a circle (23) allowing gymnastic figures.

Figure 6 shows at A an elongated tree (24), placed on his horse, lengthwise. In B we have an element (25) of round section mounted directly on the pedestal base (19).

Figure 7 is characterized by the non-limiting forms of the various elements (26, 27, 28, 29) preferably of round section.

The ends of the elements will have a common shape in order to be nestable in any support of the two apparatuses, that is to say flanges (12), cardan flanges (15), bridles braces (21), pedestals of brackets (19).

This fitting can be male-female or vice versa, depending on the strength and safety of the apparatus.

The versatile nesting of these elements on the supports may be either; cylindrical, square, hexagonal, octagonal, fluted or whatever, and the tightening of the device can be done by bolts and nuts, wing nuts, knurled screw, eccentric levers or any other locked system, so that any element fixed to its support, cannot turn or dislodge.

In view of what has been described, we understand that these devices will suit gymnasts of both sexes, improvising new figures that they could not conceive without these new apparatus.

However, a choice can be made at the level of the highest decision-making bodies, which will determine the apparatus best suited to female gymnasts, and the one best suited to male gymnasts. This choice will be determined it seems when after trying various elements, the gymnasts will be convinced of the device that suits their aspirations. In this palette of possible combinations one or the other of these apparatuses, see both, will be able to equip public places, outdoor games, multi-purpose sports halls.

Claims (10)

 1) Fixed bar and vertical bar with smoothed uprights, which can be combined with various elements, for gymnasts of both sexes, characterized by identical devices.
