Abstract

The bin for storing recyclable and non-recyclable refuse has a circular base (1) with a vertical rim (2). A vertical post (3) mounted at the center of this carries a smaller disk (4) at its top. Separate bins (6, 7) in the shape of segments of a cylinder fit inside the rim of the base and have recesses in their tops, into which the top disk fits.

The present invention relates to furniture for collecting recyclable or non-recyclable products of the urban cleanliness type and of containers that can be handled mechanically for the collection of glass, paper, etc.

In known collection furniture of this type, the waste collection means consist of baskets equipped with one or more immutable volume bins which are regularly emptied or by specific containers for each type of waste (glass, newspapers, plastics, ...) grouped next to each other.

However, these known collection items have the disadvantage of being equipped with bins in number and in fixed volumes for each type of waste, so that, depending on the location, bins are full before the others, requiring operations for one of the containers while the other containers do not yet require this intervention.

To avoid this drawback we can certainly use additional furniture but we increase the footprint and the emptying operations.

To overcome these drawbacks, the present invention includes a low plate, surrounded by a vertical profile, from which rises vertically a rigid abutment partition supporting a high plate bordered by a vertical profile, so that the stand-alone containers are fitted between the 2 plates presenting at least one opening on their external face for receiving the products, characterized in that the furniture containers can be of different volume or not and interchangeable including the juxtaposition of the containers whatever or their capacity creates a homogeneous volume.

Thanks to these provisions, the collection furniture has a modular storage capacity achieved by replacing one and more containers with one and more containers of different volume depending on the products, collection campaigns, location, season...

In addition, these provisions make it possible to guarantee the identification of the collection furniture whatever the allocation of products intended for containers.

In preferred embodiments, one can optionally have recourse to one or other of the following provisions

With reference to these drawings, in the various possible embodiments, the collection furniture, in all cases comprises a low plate (1), surrounded by a vertical profile (2), from which rises vertically a rigid stopper partition (3) supporting a high plate (4) bordered by a vertical profile (5), so that it is fitted between the 2 plates of the autonomous containers (6) having on their external face (7) at least one opening (8) for receiving products, characterized in that the containers (6) of a piece of furniture can be of different volume or not and or interchangeable, the juxtaposition of the containers (6) whatever their capacity creates homogeneous volume.

As shown in Figure 1, the cylindrical appearance of the furniture is not limiting, the containers (6) by their juxtaposition can generate volumes of shapes, cylindrical, cubic, spherical, pyramidal, linear, prismatic and or a form of revolution of any profile.

In the embodiment according to Figure 1 the plate (1) and (5), the vertical profiles (2) and (4), the rigid stop partition (3) can be made of galvanized metal. The containers (6) can be made of plastic material in a single molding operation.

In the embodiments according to Figures 2 and 3, the containers (6) can be interchangeable and or of different volume depending on the collection schedules or the different seasonal uses.

In the embodiments according to FIGS. 4,5 and 6, the collection furniture adapts to architectural requirements

 existing, either by a radiant development (Figures 4,5), or by a linear development (6).

In the embodiments according to FIGS. 7, 8, 9, 9 and 10, the collection furniture can receive containers (6) produced according to molding techniques in plastic material (FIGS. 7 and 8) or simply containers (6) produced artisanally made of ferrous metals or not (Figures 9 and 10). The installation of a container (6) is carried out by introducing it horizontally between the high (5) and low (1) plate, when it comes into contact on the rigid stopper partition (3), the container (6) slides vertically to come to rest on the lower plate (1) and to fit into its vertical profile (2).

In the embodiments according to FIGS. 11 and 12, a basic collection furniture supports a collection furniture or an information support furniture, the assemblies thus formed allow the positioning and removal of the containers (6).

In the embodiment according to FIG. 13, the treatment of the containers (6) can provide that the external facade (7) connected to the two juxtaposition partitions (7b) between containers is made of a transparent material of the poly-carbonate type and comes snap between the two partitions (7b) authorizing the display of the products collected or information on the collection.

In the embodiment according to Figure 14, an opening (11) may be located on the upper face (7a) of the containers (6) to allow the emptying of waste.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 15, the containers (6) refer to a mechanical emptying system comprising a bottom opening system (13) controlled by a handling hook (14) located in the upper part. This same system can be controlled remotely using a remote control.

In the embodiment according to Figure 16, the furniture comprises a locking means resting on the lower part of the high vertical profile (5a) by means of a bolt (16).
