Abstract

The method for stapling wires (B) utilizes a stapler (A) provided with guides (1,2) on the anvil. The user puts the wires in contact with the guides to optimize the stapling. An independent claim is included for a stapler.

Description

-1 - The invention relates to a method which makes it possible to connect two wires

  parallel to each other by means of one or more staples, the latter of which are fitted using a

manual stapler.

  This process results from a problem encountered in implementing this embodiment with various and varied means. The principle according to the invention allows the rapid installation of the wires on the anvil of the stapler, and to exert pressure on the staple via the clamp

  of the stapler, so as to trap the two wires.

  According to a first characteristic, it comprises a “fast” type stapler on which a system of guides has been adapted, so as to put these wires in abutment on these guides, and to maintain them in a

  well determined position to optimize stapling.

  The guides attached to the stapler give the user the proper position for the stapler, with the wires to be stapled. According to the different parameters (wire diameter or staple characteristics) it will be necessary to make

adjustable guide system.

  The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention: Figure 1 shows in section the wires connected with

the clip in position.

  Figure 2 shows in section the anvil of the stapler provided with its guide system and the wires in position

stapling wait.

  Figure 3 shows the position of the guide (1) on

the right front of the stapler.

  Figure 4 shows the position of the guide (2) fixed on the

left side of the stapler.

  With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a stapler (A) whose anvil will be provided with a guide (1)

  positioned and fixed at the front right to serve as a stop.

  The other guide (2) will be placed and fixed on the left face of the anvil, so that the wires (B) which will come into abutment on these guides (1) and (2) are in -2 - correct position on the anvil, as shown in the

figure 2.

  Guides (1) and (2) will be high enough to close the opening between the upper part of the anvil and the lower part of the stapler pliers

  as shown in Figures (3) and (4).

  In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, guides (1) and (2), these guides should be made in dimensions and a material allowing a

  good resistance to rigidity and wear.

  The guide (1) will be integral with the anvil (A) and will have a

fixed position.

  The guide (2) according to Figure 4 may have a fixing

  adjustable according to the diameters of the wires to be connected.

  According to a variant not illustrated, the position of the guides (1) and (2) on the anvil (A) can be reversed

  for right or left use.

  The example to describe this process and which is not limiting was carried out on a "fast" type stapler

  to connect wires with a diameter of approximately 2 mm.

  This method according to the invention is particularly intended in viticulture for the fast stapling of the wires between them, allowing the lifting and trellising of the vine, and to be able to unclip with a quick gesture by

  manual spacing of the two wires before pruning the vine.

  1) method for connecting wires together, characterized in that it comprises a stapler (A) on which guides (1) and (2) are fixed on which the user will come to put these wires (B) in contact, and will carry out a stapling trapping the two wires. 2) stapler according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises two guides (1) and (2) one located on the front of the anvil, and the other located on the side face diametrically opposed.   3) stapler according to claim 2 characterized in that the guide (1) has a fixed position on the right front of the anvil (A).   4) stapler according to claim 2 characterized in that the guide (2) positioned on the lateral face of   the stapler (A) is adjustable laterally.   ) stapler according to any one of claims   previous characterized in that the guide (1) and (2) closes   the opening between the anvil and the stapler pliers (A).   6) stapler according to any one of claims   previous characterized in that the guides (1) and (2) can be reversed on the stapler (A) so that   the user can be left or right handed.
