Abstract
The snowboard upper reinforcement comprises a metal strip (8) and a layer of superposed resin impregnated fibers (9). The reinforcement extends over the useful length of the snowboard. The layer of fibers extend over the width and length of the board whilst the width of the metal strip varies over the length of the board.
