The invention concerns a method for measuring user activity on terminals operating the WAP (Wireless Application Protocol), characterised in that it comprises an initial step which consists in registering the user with a measuring http server, said registering server attributing in response a unique identifier and a step which consists in parameterising the user terminal which consists in recording in the storage unit the aggregated terminal address of the user home page, said aggregated address consisting of the unique identifier and URL address of the Internet home page and the HTTP address of the measuring server, the measuring activity being then carried out by detecting generated http links with detection means installed on said measuring http server.
