Abstract

Method includes (a) creation of mock-up of actual plot of land at desired scale and using information recorded by geometer; and (b) creation of mock-up of building. Mock-up is done using threaded rod (1), elastic colored thread (2), nuts (3, 4), cardboard plate (5), and sleeve (8). Mock-up can be folded in half and carried as briefcase. An Independent claim is also included for the apparatus used to create mock-up.

Description

The present invention relates to a method for manual production

  quick of the model of a building to be built or modified allowing the visualization on the scale of said building in situation on the land concerned, also

  reproduced to scale with its precise geometric configuration.

  The invention also relates to a device for implementing the method, device which can be used by an architect, a paver or designed

for more didactic use.

  It is often difficult, for example during the construction of a dwelling house, to apprehend on a two-dimensional plan, the exact situation of said house in relation to the land and its altimetric configuration on the one hand, as well that the different volumes of the house compared to possible projects

development plans.

  This often results in: - unforeseen events on site leading to additional earthworks costs; - construction impossibilities or imperfections, if this is still

  possible, while the site is already underway.

  It has already been proposed to visualize a house in the form of a 3D computer representation, which nevertheless remains, even with the perspectives, a

  representation on a two-dimensional screen.

  This process, as attractive as it is, does not allow the buyer to get a precise and concrete idea of his project, it can not be frozen

satisfactorily on paper.

  In addition, this visualization method is difficult to implement during negotiation with a client, because it requires moving heavy computer equipment. Finally, if it allows to visualize approximately a house, this process does not allow to reproduce in a precise way the future environment of this house, that is to say the ground with its altimetric surveys, with the house

  arranged in a virtual situation on said terrain.

  The need therefore arises for the practitioner (architect, paver, etc.) for a simple implementation process which makes it possible to reproduce on scale and

  visualize in exact situation on the ground a building to be constructed.

  In accordance with the invention, this result is obtained with a process for the rapid manual production of the model of a building to be constructed or modified allowing the visualization on the scale of said building in situation on the land concerned, also reproduced in the scale with its precise geometrical configuration, characterized in that it consists in: carrying out the real model of the terrain at the desired scale by reproducing from a base plate the various points of altimetric level on the basis of the information collected by the surveyor;

  - carry out the real model of the building with the different levels of assembly.

  The invention also relates to a device for implementing the method described above, in the form of a case comprising: - threaded rods and their locking nuts; - lightened plates for viewing the different levels of the building; - tubes which can be threaded onto said threaded rods;

  - elastic display wires.

  The invention will be better understood using the description given below of a

  mode of implementation given by way of nonlimiting example with reference to the appended drawings in which: * FIG. 1 is a schematic view in side elevation illustrating the device making it possible to implement the method according to the invention; * Figure 2 is a schematic representation of an implementation detail

more complex.

  We will first describe the implementation of the first phase of the process,

  namely the realization on the scale of the ground.

  On a plate reproduced to scale, at each point of altimetric level, communicated by the surveyor, the plate is perforated in a cylindrical manner allowing the passage of a threaded rod of variable length according to the importance of the ground to be treated; this is placed perpendicular to the panel and is fixed to its base by two nuts on either side of the plate used to

zero level point.

  A template is slipped into each rod and its length is defined by the

  elevation of the points of the ground.

  The threaded rods are connected together by an elastic colored thread

appropriate to the terrain.

  They are placed around the threaded rod and rest on the templates

mounting.

  The length and diameter of these rods is variable depending on the scale used to manufacture the model in order to better visualize the exact configuration of the terrain. At first, we can see through and thus adapt a building that will fit into this canvas taking into account a precise adaptation as requested by the administration, during a building permit, by the creation of '' a landscaped section which must accurately reflect the curves and profiles of the

  land so as to insert any construction.

  It is possible to place a light canvas on the wires to personalize

The whole.

  Then we carry out the real model of the building concerned.

  It can be a detached house, offices, buildings; and all

  construction erected in elevation.

  The plan of a level of the construction representing either the basement, the ground floor or the first floor is glued to a cardboard plume, plywood, glass plate, or any rigid or semi-rigid material rigid can be

  perforated to allow positioning of the threaded rods.

  The threaded rods are held firmly, by wing nuts, on the panel; the recommended diameter of these rods for a scale of 1/50 is 4 mm;

  these can be metal, nylon, wood or any other material.

  The rods are positioned at each angle by a wing nut, in the case of a house construction, and others are distributed according to the partitions

  or any concept of a pre-established plan for specific types of construction.

  It is possible to slide several mounting plates, each representing a level by sliding them, thanks to the identical perforations

of the base panel.

  The panels slide freely through the threaded rods and are

  held by a double nut at defined heights.

  If you want to visualize the level differences as a whole, a stretched colored elastic thread connects the threaded rods to each other. A level height template will be fixed, this template then being placed on the elastic wire frame produced. In the case of the frame, the elastic wire will connect the threaded rods thus creating the slope of the roof and the architectural elements (tool, sitting dog,

balcony...).

  The wire will be wound manually, using a reel holder, around the rods and will rest on the mounting template. The roof overflow will be treated by other threaded rods, the end of which will be bent and held by two nuts on

the main threaded rod.

  The elastic thread is thus disassembled and reassembled easily to allow the visualization of several elaborations of different possibilities of frames on

  the same plane (two sides, three sides, four sides, tower, etc ...).

  The threaded rod allows a nut to stabilize the height desired or determined on the plan by the user or the designer (or any other person)

  for verification or educational purposes).

  To prevent the nut from continuing to slide, during handling

  of the model, it is preferable to use a nylon nut on the rod.

  To avoid any level adjustment, a nut is advantageously used

nylon or locknut.

  The mounting template is adapted according to the diameter of the threaded rod;

  it can be plastic, aluminum, glass or any other material.

The elastic thread will be colored.

  To better visualize the entire building, in its entirety, we can use Plexiglas plates or simply a colored elastic perimeter wire, possibly crossed on the threaded rods representing the points

  interior and intermediate support (splay, chimney ...).

  The elements used for implementing the method are shown diagrammatically in FIGS. 1 and 2: - threaded rod (1), - elastic thread (2) possibly colored, - retaining nuts (3,4) of the threaded rods, plate in feather cardboard (5, 6, 7) - sleeve (8), plastic torch type, threaded on the rods and

  cut to measure by the user.

  The device makes it possible to obtain a model which is actually placed in a situation. The whole model / land will be placed on an unfolded tray which, in

  closed position, can be used as a carrying case.

  Using a suitable measurement tool, it is also possible for the designer to calculate precisely the various parameters allowing him to calculate the site such as, for example - lengths of wiring, - lengths of piping, - surfaces, - foundation lengths,

- volume of earthworks.

  1. Method for the rapid manual production of the model of a building to be constructed or modified allowing the visualization on the scale of said building in situation on the land concerned, also reproduced to scale with its precise geometric configuration, characterized in what it consists of: - realizing the real model of the terrain at the desired scale by reproducing from a base plate the different points of altimetric level on the basis of the information recorded by the surveyor;   - carry out the real model of the building with the different levels of assembly.   2. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the display of   m5 different volumes are produced by elastic threads.   3. Device for implementing the method according to any one of   Claims 1 and 2, characterized in that it is in the form of a   case comprising: - threaded rods (1) and their locking nuts; - light plates (5,6,7) for the visualization of the different levels of the building; - tubes (8) which can be threaded onto said threaded rods;   - elastic display wires (2).
