Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to treatment room equipment and, more

  in particular, a set of ceiling lights, of the type comprising an anchoring base to a ceiling of a room, from which depends at least one articulated arm

supporting a column.

  Treatment rooms, in particular of intentional care, are generally equipped with conventional lighting means, whether for bright lighting or mood lighting, that is to say suspended from the ceiling or mounted on the walls. However, care areas are increasingly equipped, for reasons of hygiene and ergonomics, ceiling arms for the distribution of fluids and / or electricity. The fixation and movements of these arms frequently interfere with the lighting in the room, directly by mechanical contact, and / or indirectly by creating shadow zones. In addition, staff are frequently obliged to use flashlights for night care, in order to

  not to wake the patient up by switching on the room lights.

  The object of the present invention is to propose a new concept

  room lighting avoiding or minimizing the aforementioned drawbacks.

  To do this, the invention provides a set of ceiling lights of the type defined above, in which at least one area of the articulated arm supports the

minus a lighting organ.

  According to more specific features of the invention: - the lighting device is at least partially integrated in said zone of the arm, typically in an external casing of the zone of the arm; the column supports at least one actuation switch for

the lighting organ.

  The present invention also relates to a treatment room

  comprising at least one set of ceiling lights of the above type.

  articulated arm incorporating lighting elements according to the invention.

  In Figure 1 there is shown schematically a treatment room with its ceiling 1 and its floor 2 and defining at least one station for a

mobile care bed 3.

  In the embodiment shown, a set of ceiling lights has an anchoring base 4 mounted in the ceiling 1, from which depend io two articulated arms carrying accessories 5 and 6. In this embodiment, each arm 5,6 is supported on the base 4 by an upper barrel swiveling in the base 4 around a vertical axis, respectively 7.8. The arm 5 comprises a single horizontal arm zone 5a from the free end on which a column 9 having trays or receptacles 10 for equipment or care materials depends. The second arm 6 comprises, for its part, two horizontal arm zones articulated with respect to each other 6a, 6b, the distal zone 6b carrying at its free end a column 11 also carrying

various supports or receptacles 10.

  According to the invention at least one horizontal arm zone 5a; 6a, 6b of at least one arm typically comprises on its lower part at least one lighting member 12, 13, typically consisting of at least one lamp

  bright lighting 12 and, advantageously, at least one mood lamp 13.

  These lamps are supplied with electric current, typically low voltage, by current wires, such as electric supply wires and conduits or with fluids from the equipment carried by arms 9, 10, in arms 5 and 6, and connecting, via passages formed in the base 4, to circuits of the

building containing the room.

  The lamps 12 and 13 can, conventionally, be controlled by switches mounted on the walls of the room. Advantageously, according to one aspect of the invention, these lamps 12 and 13 are individually controlled

  or in groups, by blocks of switches 14 carried by columns 9, 11.

  According to one aspect of the invention, as shown in detail in FIG. 2, at least the horizontal arm zones 5a; 6a, 6b, include an internal frame made up of at least one metal beam 15, typically made of steel, in which the conduits for supplying electricity and fluids of the equipment carried by the columns 9 and 11 circulate, and a profiled outer casing 16, made of thin sheet metal or plastic, in which the lamps 12 and 13 are mounted, the supply wires 17 of which run between the

cowling 16 and the beam 15.

  With such an arrangement, it is understood that the treatment bed 3 always has a light above it, provided by the arms 5 and 6 arranged to position the treatment or monitoring equipment around the bed, in the immediate vicinity thereof. this. Therefore, traditional lighting mounted on the ceiling or on the walls can be omitted, thus greatly facilitating

  room cleaning and disinfection operations.

  Although the invention has been described in relation to particular embodiments, it is not limited thereto but is on the contrary

  susceptible of modifications and variants which will appear to those skilled in the art.

  In particular, as required, one of the columns 9, 11 may also include an adjustable ring for lighting support and / or a night light in

end of column.

Claims (7)

Ceiling light assembly, comprising a base (4) for anchoring to a ceiling (1) of a room, from which depends at least one articulated arm (5,6) supporting a column (9,11), characterized in that at least one zone (5a; 6a, 6b) of the articulated arm supports at least one lighting member (12,13). 2. Assembly according to claim 1, characterized in that the lighting member (12, 13) is at least partially integrated in the arm zone (5a; 6a, 6b). 3. Assembly according to claim 2, characterized in that at least one lighting member (12, 13) is partly integrated in a lower part of the arm area (5a; 6a, 6b).   4. An assembly according to claim 2 or claim 3, characterized in that at least the arm area (5,; 6a, 6b) comprises at least one internal frame (15) and an external cover (16), the lighting member (12,13) being in part integrated in the enclosure.   5. Assembly according to one of the preceding claims, characterized   in that the column (9,11) supports at least one switch (14)   actuating the lighting member (12,13).   6. Assembly according to one of the preceding claims, characterized   in that the column comprises at least one support device (10)   personal care or surveillance equipment.   7. Treatment room comprising at least one set according to one of previous claims.
