-chauffer cette pièce jusqu'à une température de malléabilité du polyéthylène, c'est-à-dire sensiblement 130 ;
-engager la cupule dans la cavité de cette pièce ;
-exercer sur ladite pièce, alors que celle-ci est toujours à la température précitée, un serrage radial vers l'intérieur, de manière à provoquer un fluage du polyéthylène dans les évidements de la cupule, et
-permettre le refroidissement de la pièce de polyéthylène tout en maintenant ce serrage ou cours de ce refroidissement.To this end, the process which it concerns comprises the operations consisting in:

-placer l'ensemble dans un outil de serrage radial de la pièce 3 contre la cupule 2, cet outil comprenant, ainsi que le montre la figure 2, quatre mors 10 dont chacun présente une face de serrage en quart d'hémisphère ;
-exercer sur ladite pièce 3, alors que celle-ci est toujours à la température précitée, un serrage radial vers l'intérieur, de manière à provoquer un fluage du polyéthylène dans les encoches 5, pour constituer les saillies 7 ;
-aménager la collerette 8 par moulage réalisé au moyen d'un serrage à l'aide d'un autre outil, et
