Abstract

Description

The present invention relates to the creation and manufacture of a device which, associated with all media, sound or not, objects, places, service proposals, whose similar or impalpable forms do not allow their distinction by a person with visual impairment (blind, partially sighted, partially sighted), allows to recognize them. This associated device allows the recognition of objects, supports or places, both by visually impaired persons, by sighted persons, and incidentally by illiterate persons.

Showy people do not read BRAILLE. Only one-third of blind people read BRAILLE.

France has about 200,000 visually impaired people for a population of 60 million people.

According to the Ministry of Health in PARIS, these people are distributed as follows:

These figures can be extrapolated to <JROPE. According to the organization
EUROSTAT, Europe would have 1,270,000 visually impaired people for a global population of 370 million.

The majority of the blind, for psychological reasons or late blindness, suffer a communication handicap in the simplest situations of life. Example: For non-yoyants, how to easily select an audio cassette, a CD cover among others, without having to listen to them again?
How. also ensure, with the same support, the communication with the seers?
This device according to the invention makes it possible to meet this double obligation. It consists of one or more support (s) associated with any object or subject, intended to be recognized by both blind and sighted persons and possibly illiterates. This medium may be a label, a packaging, or any other compatible object, made of paper, cardboard, textiles, plastic or metallic, mineral or vegetable materials for the purpose of designating or describing the object and its Issuer for their recognition, at means of writing using classical alphabets, solfège, signs, logos, symbols, in relief or intaglio, allowing the reading by touch and the visual reading by contrast, shaded, or colored between on the one hand, the top of the relief and the surface of the support, or on the other hand, the bottom of the hollow and the surface of the support.

The associated support is connected to the object that uses it, and that it describes, pasted, mechanically linked, electromechanically or telemechanically.

The device will most often serve as packaging for the associated object.

Letter spacing: 3 mm minimum and above proportional to the
dimension of the letters.

Line spacings and lines 3 mm minimum.

Height of the relief and depth of the hollow: 0,032 mm.

Support colors: all colors.

Color of embossed or debossed film coating: all distinct colors of
the surface.

Continuity and discontinuity of lines: 3 mm minimum separation for
differentiate.

Word spacing: minimum 4.5 mm or 2 times the spacing of the letters
and 6 mm optimum. The spacing of words is proportional to the
dimension of the letters.

Epure complicated forms: each case is studied by blind people.

Generic and analog devices are removable (fig.2 and fig.3).

MANUFACTURING
The device uses all forms of printing and marking offered by technology on all types of materials: printing technologies, plastics, metal, textiles, animal (leather) plants and minerals: etch , embossing, embossing, matting, formatting, forming, and thermoforming by pressure or vacuum, pressing, embossing, flocking, etching, laser pyro-etching, chemical lamination, etc.

C and C 'are then slid vertically into the slots (4), and blocked laterally and vertically on the generic device A', by means of the lugs (5). The devices are thus integral and removable.

DESTINATION
The device responds to a social need, to allow Transmitters of objects, sound media or messages, to communicate better with both the seers and the blind who do not master the BRAILLE, and to them recognize more easily all similar objects, all places, or services or proposals through brochures, inserts etc ...
