Abstract

Device for storing audio and / or video recording media such as discs or cassettes, characterized in that it comprises - a rigid frame (1, 40, 43) comprising a pair of longitudinal slides (12, 13) mutually integral, - a frame (17) mounted for longitudinal sliding along the slideways (12, 13) relative to the frame (1, 40) between a rear limit position, with reference to a determined longitudinal direction (8), in which the frame (17) is engaged longitudinally at most between the slides (12, 13), and at least one front position in which the frame is placed substantially cantilevered forward with respect to the slides (12 , 13), the frame (17) integrally presenting a pair of longitudinal rails (18, 19) each of which runs along one, respectively, of the slides (12, 13) and has, opposite the other rail, a longitudinal groove ( 26) open towards it and internally comprising a stopper (20) in a longitudinally anterior end zone (22, 23) of the rail (18, 19) and a stopper (21) in a longitudinally rear end zone (24, 25) of the rail (18, 19), the front end zones (22, 23) of the two rails (18, 19) and their rear end zones (24, 25) being placed in the same respective transverse alignment, - a plurality of transverse bars ( 27, 45) for receiving and removably retaining a respective recording medium in a position in which this recording medium is oriented approximately transversely and situated on a determined side of the frame (17), each bar (27, 45) being located between the rails (18, 19) and comprising two pins (28, 29, 47, 48) arranged along the same respective transverse axis (30, 49), engaged in the groove

(26) of one, respectively, of the rails (18, 19) for free translation between the respective stops (20, 21) and for free rotation about said transverse axis (30, 49),

and in that the frame (17), internally, each bar (27, 45), externally, each pin (28, 29, 47, 48), externally, and each groove (26), between the respective stops (20, 21), have longitudinal dimensions such that they allow a longitudinal displacement of the bars (27, 45) inside the frame (17) and a grouping of the bars (27, 45) in at least two groups comprising an arbitrarily number selected therefrom, inclined antagonistically with respect to the rails (18, 19) so that the respective recording media diverge from each other on said side of the frame (17), in the direction of a distance from that -this.

Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the frame (1, 43) is a trunk (1, 43) open or opening towards the front, which comprises the slides (12, 13) internally, integrally, and accommodates internally the frame (17) in rear limit position while the frame (17) projects forward, in the front position.

3. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the trunk (1) is open or also opening on said side of the frame (17).

4. Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the trunk (43) is closed on said side of the frame (17).

5. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that it further comprises means for defining a front limit position of the frame relative to the slides.

6. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the slides (12, 13) are at least approximately horizontal and mutually juxtaposed in horizontal direction and in that said side of the frame (17) is the side superior of it.

Device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that each bar (27) is capable of receiving and retaining integrally, on said side of the frame (17), a standardized housing (31) for receiving and removable retainer for a recording medium, said housing (31) having a flat bottom (32), having a back (36) and a flat cover (33) hinged on the bottom (32) about an axis (38 ) running along said back (36), and for this purpose has the shape of a transverse chute defining on said side of the frame (17) a transverse slot (39) capable of receiving and retaining the back (36) of the bottom (32) ) of the housing (31) in a relative position such that the axis (38) of articulation of the cover (33) on the bottom (32) is transverse and parallel to the axis (38) of the pins (28, 29) and that the cover (33) of the housing (31) is turned towards the front, and in that the frame (17) and the bar (27) are shaped and dimensioned born so that the cover (33) of the housing (31) can be tilted in the direction of opening or closing the housing in said relative position.

Device according to claim 7, characterized in that the cover (33) envelops the bottom (32) of the housing (31) near the back (36), around their axis of mutual articulation (38), and in what is expected is that the frame (17), between the rails (18, 19), and the bar (27), between the pins (28, 29) have transverse dimensions which substantially coincide respectively with the external and internal transverse dimensions of the cover (33) near the back (36).

Device according to any one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that each bar (45) has integrally, on said side of the frame (17), a flat extension (50), forming a bottom (51) of the housing ( 52) for receiving and detachably retaining a recording medium, said bottom (51) being open towards the front, and carrying on said side of the frame (17), in front of said bottom (51), a flat cover ( 54) capable of occupying with respect thereto a closed position in which it is applied to the bottom (51) and an open position in which it is comparatively offset forwards with respect to the bottom (51 ).

Device according to claim 9, characterized in that the cover (54) is integral with the bar (45), near said transverse axis (49), and elastically flexible towards the front from a substantially planar conformation corresponding to the closed position, and in that the frame (17), between the rails (18, 19), and the bar (45), between the pins (47, 48), have transverse dimensions which substantially coincide.
