Abstract

The prepared gel enables the fixation of fluorescent compounds in an acrylic base, to produce luminescent effects under UV light. The gel is prepared by curdling of milk to produce a whey solution, which is strained off to recover a transparent liquid. This is heated to 75 deg C. A white vinylic glue (e.g. wood glue) is then mixed with the liquid at 75 deg C avoiding the formation of lumps. The proportion of glue is 1/4 of the volume of whey. The gel obtained is cooled then placed in a sealed container. For use, the gel is mixed with the fluorescent paint and the solution obtained mixed with the acrylic paint.

Description

The object of the present invention is to fix fluorescent compounds in an acrylic paint, which allow this paint, when it is lit by ultraviolet light, to become luminescent.
