Abstract

It is well known in the confectionery sector to offer customers figurines of various shapes established from a rigid support which is lined with candies and other sweets judiciously combined together to obtain the chosen subject which must be attractive by its colors and its resemblance to the real object.

For this, it is generally necessary to make the supports by molding in a plastic material of the food type, and it is understood that it is necessary to design a mold for each figurine. The range of subjects offered being important to satisfy the tastes of the clientele, we can see that this leads to high manufacturing costs, and generates a bulky stock.
One of the aims of the invention is therefore to standardize the manufacture of these figurines in order to significantly reduce the cost price of the supports. Another object of the invention is to be able to economically produce three-dimensional figurines.

 For this, and according to a first characteristic, the supports of different shapes are produced from a single and single component established in the form of a rigid plate of food-grade plastic with multi-perforations on one face of which the outline of the figurine chosen, then this plate is cut by any known means, according to the layout made. In the same way, the figurines are produced in three dimensions from perforated plates linked together.

 To then garnish the support thus cut with various candies and sweets, in order to achieve in volume the chosen attractive object, it is necessary to provide means for fixing this garnish.

 For this, and according to another characteristic, the rigid plate or plates of plastic material serving as a support of the multi-perforation type, receive by clipping spikes protruding from the side of the filling for fixing the confectionery.

 These characteristics and others will emerge from the description which follows.

According to the invention, to produce a support for a figurine, a molded plate (1) is used, made of plastic material of the food type of large dimensions, having a surface (la) arranged with multiple perforations (lb) and surrounded by a frame. lower (lc) used for raising for the operations of cutting this plate by any known means such as laser cutting, along a line (T) also carried out by any means, for example by template and writing instrument , by stencil .......  The figurine (F) thus obtained (Figure 4), is then equipped at different points on the perforated surface, and according to the needs or desires of the confectioner, spikes (2) which are fixed for example by clipping into the perforations (lb) .

 For this, the spikes (Figure 5) are composed of a frustoconical body (2a), of greater or lesser length, as required and with a diameter slightly smaller than that of the perforations. At the engagement end, the spikes form a tapered part (2b) for fixing the filling confectionery. At the opposite end, the spikes have a flange (2c) intended to bear on the underside (ld) of the plate (Figure 6) after insertion into the perforations and clipping by force and elasticity of a projection (2d) spades, following a groove (2e).

 When all the necessary spikes are positioned, it only remains to garnish the support thus staked, with candies (B) and other sweets, of all shapes and all colors, chosen by the confectioner; said sweets being skewered on the fixing spikes (Figure 8).

 By the same process, we can make figurines in three dimensions.

 For example, and as illustrated in FIGS. 9 and 10, one can have a figurine in the shape of a grand piano comprising a support (3) perforated and cut out for the body of the piano, and a support (4) perforated and cut out for the shutter. closing the soundboard. These two supports are interconnected by spikes (5) of appropriate height, and other spikes (6) constitute the legs of the piano.

 The set, including the feet, is garnished with various confectionery (C) suggesting for example the keys of the keyboard, the cabinetmaking of the box ...

 In the same way, as seen in FIGS. 11, 12, and 13, volumes of the parallelepiped type can be produced, for example a dice, using six perforated and cut supports (7) to the dimensions of the dice to obtain, it suffices to connect two by two by squared spikes (8) to clip projections. The volume thus designed is then garnished with different confectionery (C) by stitching, in order to obtain the composition of a thimble.

 The advantages clearly emerge from the description, the economy of manufacturing the supports obtained from a single standard perforated plate molded in large series is also emphasized, and quick and guided cutting of the figurines, as well as the possibility of making three-dimensional figurines.
